Subject: RE: [ferrethealth] Ferret with ulcers not doing very well
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com
He was given Flagyl as part of his treatment once, earlier this year in March. It was horrible for him - he gagged, pawed and clawed at his mouth and urinated (on me) every time he was given it, no matter what I mixed it with. After that experience, I did some research and read that Biaxin was an alternate choice. This is the first time I've used it, but I'll definitely go with that from now on. I mix it into his baby food, and he doesn't react at all.
I'm glad to hear that the smaller poops could be from the baby food. I hadn't considered that possibility.
Thank you Lisa!
