Subject: [ferrethealth] Elmo update/lymphosarcoma/homeopathy

Well, after the first week of his homeopathic cancer protocol, Elmo's
two cancerous lymph nodes have shrunk dramatically, although they are
not back to normal size. He is walking much better, and many of his
old habits and playfulness have returned. We've also been able to
reduce his pred dose to half with no ill effects. (When we tried that
before, he completely stopped walking.) His traditional vet feels
that this homeopathic route is having definite positive effects.
We started his second week of treatment on Monday, but the remedy
disagreed with him, so we stopped that immediately.
Meanwhile, he had caught my chest cold, which quickly turned into
pneumonia for him. But, with antibiotics and fluids, he seems to be
on the mend. And, thankfully, none of his buddies seem to have caught
the cold.
So, we're on hold until he recovers from the pneumonia. Hopefully
we'll be able to restart the protocol next week.
