If the ferret has not had any CD vaccines since leaving MF, then at his
age (over 16 weeks) he needs 2 CD vaccines, 3 weeks apart. So what your
vet did was correct in protecting your ferret against CD. Check the AFA
Vaccination procotol at http://www.ferret.org/read/vaccinations.shtm =


I also recommend not giving rabies & CD together, so in case of a
reaction you know which vaccine caused it.

Sounds like you have a knowledgeable ferret vet - congrats!
