Subject: [ferrethealth] Male adrenal hair loss

Previously, I had an adrenal ferret who had the classic fur loss from base of the tail upwards.
I now have a male castrated ferret whose fur is thinning all over, especially on his belly, he's starting to look quite bald. But he doesn't have that classic hairloss pattern, disregarding mites etc is it possible that he could also have adrenal?
I am taking him to the vets this weekend, but wanted your thoughts.
