Subject: [ferrethealth] Feeding chicken
To: list <ferrethealth@smartgroups.com>

I have four of the ferrets I have that love a chunk of raw chicken. I
use the Cornish game hens cut in small pieces, then freeze in a single
layer on plastic wrap and keep in a Zip bag. Thaw and watch them go for
it. No problems at all. If a piece gets stashed someone else will find
it. The surface dries and it will be like jerky.
One of them is a somewhat nippy young lady that was a real biter. Now
she has something else to chew on.
