Sara,
My little guy had insulinoma surgery because his blood glucose was in
the 40s. After the surgery and having his stitches removed his blood
glucose showed no improvement. Started .3ml of Diazoxide Oral
Suspension 2 times a day. Went back to the vet a week or so later and
still not enough improvement. Next came .3ml of Pediapred and his
numbers rocketed from the 40s to over 160. We ended up settling in at
.2ml Diazoxide and .3 ml Pediapred. I recommend seeing a vet familiar
with ferrets. I drive 2 hours for a competent ferret vet.
Hope this helps,
Jon
