- As this ferret is probably from a back-yard breeder, we don't know
who did her spay. She probably didn't have the best educated
breeder/vet, as it appears someone cut her canines (all of which have
now been extracted due to abscess). So, she might have not have a
proper spay and we want to look there during the surgery.
> Are there any lumps near the urethra like might occur with an
apocrin tumor?
- I haven't noticed any lumps and my vet didn't feel/see anything.
> Do you have any ferrets there who punish others by biting their
privates?
- We have other ferrets, but there's hasn't been any rough playing.
This bleeding started occuring before she came to us and I don't
beleive any of them played rough with her either.
> Is there any sign of parasites, fungus, or urine burn?
I don't see anything out of the ordinary, except there is red-brown
colored dried blood. But, I'm not sure what fungus would look like.
She doesn't seem to have any discomfort when urinating.
She is also eating, drinking, and playing like nothing is wrong.
