Subject: [ferrethealth] latest update with my emergency- additional questions

I bought duck soup formula, and Louise is lapping it up. I had bought
also the baby food,and Pedialyte, she is drinking the PEdialyte from a
eyedropper. Her balance is SLIGHTLY better. A friend had asked if it
was possible if Louise may have an ear infection, which possibly
throwing her balance off. It sounds like its in the realm of
possiblities. He said he had another friend who had ferrets and explain
that when they get ear infections that the body burns up fluids to try
to clear up the ear infections. Sounds logical. So, it seems that what
I am doing is helping so i am going to continue. Going to be a long
weekend before Monday comes and I can see the vet. I just hope I will
have enough cash and maybe pay more later.
I have read on the 'net that cedar chips substrate is bad for ferrets.
Is this true. Something about the ferrets being asthmatic???
