Subject: [ferrethealth] Hi, New to the group and questions

Hi,
I am new to the group. I have 2 female ferrets a 2 1/2 year old female
I rescued and named Stacy and a 10 week old named Ingrid, and we reside
in Cape Coral, Florida.
I rescued Stacy a few months back from a girl that culd no longer take
care of her and she had her eating dog food. We made the transition to
eating ferret food, where I mix a bit of Marshalls, Totally Ferret,
Zupreem, Sheppard & Green, Enova, and a bit of Wysong ferret food.
I got her a cage mate Keegan, but after only having him for 23 days,
he died. I then got her Ingrid. She does play with Ingrid, but when in
their playpen she is not super active. The vet says she is a perfect
1.4 lbs. ( she did go throught a round of slimy diarrhea last week) but
has since recovered.
Any ideas on how to make her perk up more?
