I've never seen one of those for vets at the national level. Some
states have ways to verify a vet's license to practice in that state
online, and in other cases, you have to call the state veterinary
board. Here are two websites that can help you locate this
information, even if it's just a phone number for the state board:

My state, NC, does not appear to have a way to check this online. New
York, however, does.
Maybe someone else knows of another resource for this, though, on the
national level.
