Subject: [ferrethealth] playing in the creek...

every morning, and sometimes in the evening weather permitting, we
take our 3 ferrets down to the creek to play for 1 hr. I can't tell
you how much fun it is to watch them dig in the holes along the bank,
stash walnuts away back under a big boulder, run along the high
exposed roots and occasionaly take a fall and play in the water. It
is really funny to see how surprised they are when they surprise a
frog sitting along the bank! We have been doing this for 3 yrs with
them and they know exactly when they are getting close to the water as
they start squirming so hard to get out of our arms. I just wish
every fuzzy could have the opportunity to enjoy this much fun.
The only thing we really worry about are the chicken hawks swooping
down and carrying one off!
