Sheryl;

It sounds like she does have a blockage from what your vet said. Does it matter if that blockage is a tumor on her pancreas, somewhere in her abdomen preventing food and water passage or a mass or whatever that she ate, or otherwise injested, inside her digestive tract preventing food and water passage?

She needs help and it sounds like she needed it yesterday.. I sure would like to help but all I can do from Texas is ask people if they are available to drive and if someone can help get her or both of you to a vet.

SO who is the next closest vet that Anyone can recommend to do a surgery

and again, Sheryl can you pay for a surgery - this matters on how to proceed. I know you want to do the best for her because you've asked for assistance with info or whatever. Let's help her if we can.

So first step, can someone recommend a good vet in or around Somerstown,RI and my next choice would be in Farmington, CT. Next, Sheryl we need to know WHERE, what city you are in if there is any chance to put together a transport.

If someone is already helping you offlist please let me know that also so I can stand down.

Vicki
