Each case is different and really until you know for sure what's going on anything said would only be a guess. I can tell you that ferrets usually have very high thresholds for pain. If you going to be dr in the morning they might be able to tell you more. You might want to ask about an ultrasound. Costs for that are FAR ranging from about $85 up to $800. just depends on who does it.
My experience is that pred stimulates appetite. Here again the particular ferret may or may not react well to the meds. A vet really has to work with you on that.
If she's just urinating and she is not able to poop this could cause some bad discomfort.
