Subject: [ferrethealth] Rash under skin.

About a year ago Abby had both adrenals removed. Since that time
she's
been itchy but nothing ever showed up. We've tried ivermetin (one
shot
every 2 wks for 6 wks)to see if she had some kind of a bug. That
didn't relieve the itchying at all. In the past couple of weeks
we've
noticed a rash under the skin. If it's not a rash it's red blotches
all over her little body. She only weights in at 1 lb. and seems to
spend all her energy scratching. She only gets up to eat then back
to bed she goes. She was one of our rescues so we guess her age
around 6-7yrs. I'm going to call our vet this morning and see if
they can squeeze her in.
What I'm wondering is if anyone has ever had this happen to them.
We've had furkids for 10 yrs now and never seen anything like this
before. We have 5 other furkids and no one else has caught it so
we're kind of puzzled over it.
Just got off the phone and xxxx will see her this am. Will let you
know what's going on.
