Well the fluid was not the original source of the lymphoma, my suspicions
tells me it may be intestinal and sometimes the tract swells so much that
yes you get a blockage but it is from the cancer not a foreign body. The
tissue in these areas get so weak it tears very easily. I had one ferret
that I saw on a Monday and she was seemingly fine other then treating an
ulcer and 2 days later she suddenly was so bad, she was so painful my
options to the owner were put her to sleep or go in and explore her with the
possibility of putting her down on the table. If it was fixable we would
repair it. There was a hole in her intestine, she developed a peritonitis
and it was secondary to cancer of the intestine. Once the tear and such the
cancer cells were released into the abdomen and now her whole body was
seeded with cancer cells. We elected to help her cross over.

I know it is hard but don't force anything you could inadvertantly cause
more harm. Just love him and talk with him and try and keep him as
comfortable as possible. Talk to your vet when you can and make a decision
one way or the other. Be fair to your little one that you love so much.
Good Luck and hope this helps a bit. Best to you and Moki.
