I have a little 7 yo female who's never been a great eater and usually even
turns down treats. I take her kibble and add water to cover and then put
it in the microwave until it's almost boiling. I cover the mix and wait 15
minutes for it to turn into mush. I crush it up and then add some chicken
baby food and mix well. My little girl will eat this all the time. Oxbow
also makes an excellent supplement for ferrets made out of eggs. Water can
be added to the egg mixture and I've never had a ferret turn this
down. It's really expensive though so you might want to try the kibble
mashed with baby food first. Please remember I'm not a vet and can only
share what I've done with my own fuzzies.

Good luck and glad to know Jumper is enjoying the new friend!
