I just wanted to thank all of you for your kindness and advice during a
really difficult time for us. It really really helped. Moki passed
away Sunday night. He became paralyzed from the shoulders down and it
became obvious he was going to go soon. He got very agitated with this
and kept trying to drag himself around. Our first snow of the year
started and he loves snow so much so we wrapped him up in a blanket and
took him outside to watch it. His eyes got wide and he looked around
and sniffed the air the same way he does everytime he goes outside.
Then we put him on our bed between us with his kitty cat (who he loves
very much) curled up around him. We told him that we loved him very
much and that it was okay for him to go. He passed within the hour
bright eyed and alert till the very end. We are so broken hearted it
is almost unbearable. But again, Thank you all, for being here to
listen to our story and to talk us through it and to understand what we
are going through.
