Robert, your Vwey sounds as thoughhe's had a good deal of ferret experience, but did he
do a complete blood count including an evaluaton of blood sugar? Very often in older
ferrets adrenal tumors and pancreatic tumors go hand in hand. The tumors make the
pancreas produce too much insulin(insulinoma) dangerously lowering the blood sugar,
that may be why Bucky has lost appetite and seems lethargic. If left untreated, the ferrets
blood sugar will eventually bottom it into a seizure that may kill it. In any case, this
doesn't go away on its own! Please have the blood checked too.
