Subject: [ferrethealth] Respiratory infection?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Help!

My husband and I have both been sick for the past week and a half with
respiratory infections. A couple of days ago our male ferret, Bandit,
started coughing and sneezing, and today our female, Daisy, started
sneezing as well. Is this common? Is it something that could run its
course or should we rush to a vet tomorrow? They are a little less
playful than usual, but seem to be eating and drinking normally.
Actually, this evening, Bandit seems to be having some difficuly
sleeping because he is interrupted frequently due to his "cold"
symptoms.

We have only been ferret owners for about six months, and this is new
to us. Your advice please!

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

Lynn
