Uroliths should always be analyzed by a veterinary laboratory which in knowledgeable about
bladder and kidney stones because there are different types with different care needed to
avoid recurrences.

The photos here are beautiful. I had to find the new page because someone needed to see
the struvite stone from a ferret.

Geologists and rock hounds present will notice that like in geology some lay down flat
planes, others pit or nodule, etc. Like rocks formed geologically they appear to vary within
boundaries in shape and coloration, which makes sense when a person thinks about it since
the nature of the substances themselves probably has a large say in appearance...
