BTW, one other reminder: to get an illness the ferret needs exposure to a given virus, and
usually to run into a successful mutations (even of diseases that mutate more readily than
coronaviruses) many, constant exposures are needed.
Exposures to other ferrets is not unusual for pet ferrets. Exposure to minks, let along
diseased minks, seems to be much more rare these days than during past decades when fitch
fur brought in more profit than pet ferrets.
