Thank you very much to everyone who has sent me helpful emails on this
subject. Summer has been extra pampered lately, and with the help of
snacks, a few new toys, and lots of attention, she has perked up a
little. Sometimes it seems she's still looking for Biff, but she does
a lot more during playtime and doesn't spend all her time searching.
Vicki: We did not let the other ferrets say their goodbye to Biff
after he passed. I relise now that we should have but I didn't know
they'd understand, and it'd brake my heart to see them. But now I know.
Currently, we have a lot of other problems going on, too...

But thanks again, Summer is bouncing!

people sometimes and need lots of extra love and attention when they
lose a cage mate. You might also (if you still have one) put a blanket
or something that has Biff's scent on it where she can cuddle with it.
We have found that it helps.
