I am changing the kibble to something of a smaller size and different
shape (or at least trying, getting Rocky to switch to something good
for him is slow going, he would prefer the cats' food, or better yet
the dog's food!). I'm also softening it with water. I suspect you are
right, that it may be getting caught in the roof of his mouth, or
possibly he is inhaling it a bit, his canines are very long and he
seems to have more trouble than his cagemate getting the current food
into his mouth.
