Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: possible toxoplasmosis outbreak
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I am rather puzzled by your vets reactions. When a vet thought my
boy might have it (He didn't BTW.), he described that there were
treatments and the outcome would be good. I also had other ferrets
at the time and he wasn't the least bit worried about them. DIdn't
even mention them as a cautionary note.

He did REALLY think it was toxoplasmosis. And, We proceeded as if
Shin did have it until the tests came back negative. He sent us home
after a few hours and 2 IVs at the clinic.

There are a series of shots to treat toxoplasmosis and a good outcome
is normally expected. SO I am wondering What other details can you
give us?

Thinking hopeful thoughts for your fuzzies.
