Subject: [ferrethealth] Grey Patches on Skin

My ferret, Oliver, has some grey patches of skin above his right
shoulder going under his chin. I had never noticed it before, and it
almost appears to be new hair growth, but I am not quite sure. He is
approx. 2 1/2 years old and I adopted him from a woman who rescued him
from a neglictful situation where he was malnuruished and full of
fles. After she nursed him back to health for about 2 1/2 months, I
adopted him and have had him for 1 month.
My next question is about what to do if you think that your ferret may
have a cold. I've had a pretty bad cold the last few days, and I think
that Oliver may have gotten it. He has been lethargic, and has been
doing some sneezing. He is going to the vet on Tuesday, but in the
meantime, I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas of what would
be the best to help him get over his cold!
