Subject: [ferrethealth] E.coli and Salmonella
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I hope this post finds everyone and their ferrets well :-)

I'm having a difficult time finding consistent information on E.coli
and salmonella as they pertain to ferrets. In particular I'd like to
know just how susceptible ferrets are to contracting these two diseases
via food. Are they as resistant to them as their wild polecat cousins?
Why or why not?

Also, what are the signs of E.coli? Salmonella? What about Treatments?

Thanks!

Kim
