We've had both in our group. The problem with some bacteria is they
secrete a toxin when treated with antibiotics. We lost one to e.coli
because of that exact reason. The other ferret with e.coli survived
which might have something to do with sub-q'd 200 cc's of LR at one
time to flush his system.
All ferrets that had salmonella survived.
