Subject: [ferrethealth] Natural Balance Formulations recalled...please read!

I just found out today when I went to buy my ferrets more food (I feed them a mix of feline z/
d and natural balance venison and green pea cat food because of food allergies) that natural
balance has recalled all their venison formulation foods due to a melamine contamination in
the rice protien concentrate. I was totally unaware of this recall, so of course I am concerned
about my babies now..though they have been eating the same bag of food for over a month,
so I think if they were going to get sick they would have by now. I got rid of it all anyways.
Guess they will just be eating z/d for the time being. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up
on this. God bless.
