Subject: [ferrethealth] What to feed my chicken/turkey allergy ferret

Now that I can not feed my kids Natural Balance venison and green pea, does anyone else
have a suggestion for what to feed my potential food allergy ferret? She is getting feline z/d
right now, but I don't want that to be her sole food option. I have tried offering wysong ferret
archetypal-2, but she won't eat it. I am also trying to get her to eat baby food as a treat, but
that is a struggle as well.
In case you are wondering, the reason I believe my ferret has a food allergy is she was having
very bird seed like stool for months (was being fed Innova evo cat at the time), and vomitted
a couple times after eating treats that were completely chicken or turkey based. Since
switching her diet and cutting out those treats, she has not vommitted, and her stool looks
much more normal.
