Subject: [ferrethealth] difficulty urinating (continued)

Neil,

My understanding of male ferrets with adrenal disease who have difficulty with urinating have a problem with their prostate gland. This can be deadly and is very painful for your ferret. You do need to take him to his doctor and get him treated for prostate trouble. Propecia is sometimes used to control the problem, but please don't hesitate. He needs his doctor to help him.

He who learns must suffer. And even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart. And in our own despair, and against our will, comes Wisdom by the awful Grace of God...Aeschylus
