Jeff, that sounds like possibly he might have had some post-operative pancreatic
inflammation, pancreatitis, rather than an anesthesia problem. A very small percentage of
ferrets who get insulinoma surgery do. There was a marvelous vet article on that in a past
issue of Ferrets Magazine, I think last year but maybe in 2005.
