Is licking urine a fairly common symptom or warning sign of adrenal disease? None of our ferrets currently do this, but Neo did, and we always just thought it was a strange quirk, not a sign of adrenal disease, which he did in fact end up having. He never experienced aggressive behavior, hair loss, difficulty urinating, or any other signs. He had his left adrenal removed at the same time as the insulinoma surgery.

I have one right now who just started licking urine-no hair loss, trouble urinating, or any other classic or even unusual symptoms, and let me tell you that we are running a TN panel this week! I'd rather catch it now, especially if your guy is having urinary troubles, than wait till he is blocked with prostate problems, anemic or worse. Just my opinion based on my experiences.
Good luck!
