I just do not want to assume that what he has Adrenal Disease until I
know for certain it is.
Plus, you also have to remember that you do not see him. All you get
is the symptoms I describe and base your opinions on what is most
likely to afflict ferrets. Most people on this list are not
veterinarians and we have to remember to not diagnose others' animals
but to just remind people that this is just our opinion.
For example, about a year ago some people on this list kept insisting
Mojave had insulinoma and would not hear of anything different. (His
BG level taken with a glucometer kept coming back at 80) When I took
him to the ferret experienced vet, the BG results of the in-house
bloodwork was 112.
I don't mean to insult anyone, I just wanted to remind some that we
are not here to make others feel like they are unfit ferret owners
nor are we here to try and diagnose another person's ferrets without
having a veterinary degree.
