Is licking urine a fairly common symptom or warning sign of adrenal disease=
? None of our ferrets currently do this, but Neo did, and we always just th=
ought it was a strange quirk, not a sign of adrenal disease, which he did i=
n fact end up having. He never experienced aggressive behavior, hair loss, =
difficulty urinating, or any other signs. He had his left adrenal removed a=
t the same time as the insulinoma surgery.

It is not very common. But it has happened to me with two ferrets (as I men=
tioned, it was the only thing out of the ordinary outwardly with one), and =
I have read and heard others with this odd symptom=E2=80=A6 They stopped d=
oing it after adrenalectomies=A6
