Subject: [ferrethealth] chemo and vaccinations

Hi everyone, I thought I had read somewhere that you should be cautious about vaccinating (or not even get them done) on a ferret who is going thru or who has just finished chemo?
I have an almost 5 yo male, River, who just finished his last treatment on 5/3/07. He's due for his rabies and distemper in the beginning of June. I havent spoken to his vet about this yet... I'm trying to find info on this first.
Any help would be much apprecaited!
