Find out what type of anesthesia it was. out vets out her use gas
rather than introvienus as it is better to regulate. There are 2
types of gas used, mine uses Isophlorin (sp) because the other gas
has a higher reation rate. We had one ferret die due to a raction to
this gas another got sick and took a while to come out of it. Sorry I
can't remember what steriod the vet used to help the ferret wake up.
Both these ferrets were from a particular blood line so whenever any
other ferret from the same bloodline need surgery my vet pays extra
attention.
