Subject: [ferrethealth] Combining Melatonin implants with Lupron Injections
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hi all, I have heard it discussed previously that people have combined
Lupron and Melatonin implants. I have two ferrets who received
monthly lupron injections (3 months now). Both have inoperable
adrenal tumors which appear to be well controlled by lupron. And both
have enlarged hearts and murmurs. My male Little Bear is almost 5 and
his coat is now beautiful and maybe he does not need melatonin (all of
my ferrets have had implants in the past with good effect which seems
to decrease over time, so I stopped giving them last year) Mia, my 6
or 7 year old albino girl, however is almost bald and I was wondering
if it might help her to have both. thanks

Kathleen and Little Bear, Mia, Kosmo, Bookker and Pandy.
