Hi Sukie.....

I don't think you want to close up the room.....the humidity would climb too
high and the fan would stop the cooling process due to the high humidity and
the combination of high humidity and high temp would be a lethal combination
to the ferrets....

So..everything you said is correct except, have a means for the air to enter
and leave the room.
