Some problems that can result with putting them under isofluorane for
the bloodwork can be some not-quite-accurate values, such as a lower
packed cell volume, FYI. (and if you use Nutrical to distract them,
you'll get an artifical blood glucose, too.)

Only one of my current four ferrets is not a nightmare to get blood
from; the rest flail, kick, cry, pee, poop, or some combination
thereof. One-pound Daisy takes four people to hold and distract, and
one to poke her!!!
