Subject: [ferrethealth] introducing new ferrets
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

i've had my ferret dozer for almost 2 years and has been an only
child. i recently rescued a 1 year old female named zoey from some
pretty horrible living conditions. i know all about them establishing
dominance but dozer just seems to beat the hell out of her whenever i
let them out together and i am scared to just let them go at it like
all of the books and sites of said. does anyone have any advice or has
had a similar experience then could let me in on. dozer just latches
on to her and shakes and i'm so scared he's going to hurt her.
