Subject: RE: [ferrethealth] introducing new ferrets
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
I added a 2nd ferret after having one for a little over a year then added a
dog and they got along great, the dog would grab the ferret by the tail and
pull him around, then I added a second ferret and my first ferret used to go
after her, where I thought I would have to keep them seperate, even to the
point where I would spray the new ferret with Bitter Apple, and the dog then
started to pull the new ferret around, after a couple of weeks, they were
sleeping together, then I added a third and the same routine, the dog pulled
the new ferret around and the first two went after the new one, and then
after a little while the three were coulded up together.
Just give it time, and they will work it out
