Subject: [ferrethealth] Side effects of long-term Pepto use?
To: <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

yes, there is a 'children's pepto" it is basically calcium carbonate, an antacid, like tums I think. And I don't know what dose, I only see a chewable form. The liquid forms of pepto that I can find come in regular and maximum strength and do contain the bismuth subsalicilate.

.I am no vet, but I've read that there is a childrens pepto which does
not have the salicilate (asprin like product) in it and that it is what
should be used for ferrets.
