Subject: [ferrethealth] optimal temperature for a sick ferret
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

hello:

i posted about my ferret raven last week, about
extruded anus (actually, i incorrectly said prolapsed
rectum). she had a bit of remission and she's worse,
now with green slime, mixed with black tar poop.
we're seeing her dr on friday, but he had me start her
on 1cc/day of 5mg/5ml prednisolne. my question is, it
started getting warm here in michigan and i want to
make certain i have the a/c at the right temperature
for her and my chronic renal failure 17 year old male
kitty. can you make recommendations for the temp?

(and Sukie - I just forwarded to her dr the note you
sent about vomiting and yellow mucuous, thanks!)
