I think Danee is right, that your best bet would be contacting the two gentlemen she listed; the last time I spoke with Kate (early last summer) she was unsure of what would be happening with the test program, and it sounded as if it was going to be stalled completely. I had hoped to take it up this past year (Kate was going to share info and procedures, etc.) with an interested lab vet at Tufts Veterinary College as a sort of independent study and research project while I'm finishing my second undergrad degree and then pursuing it more if I ever get into Tufts, but then I got pregnant :) and didn't really have time to take that on with fulltime school and fulltime work...
