Hey Everyone!
Thanks for all of your comforting words. It really does mean a lot to me!
I am thankful for the time Samuel and I had together. When we first
got him I didn't really even like him a whole lot, just another
scraggly looking ferret face! LOL! But shortly after we brought him
home he had adrenal surgery and a splenectomy and I nursed him back to
health, you know how THAT is! Ever since then he was my best bud. He
would follow me everywhere I went. He was always looking up at me
like, "Pick me up, Dad!"
Well one good thing is it was the easiest decision I have had to make;
the doc opened him up, I took a peek and saw all of the nasties and we
gave him a shot to send him off. A lot of times it ain't quite so easy
a decision; should we, shouldn't we...you know the drill... I just
thank God he made it an easy one.
Won't be quite the same around here for awhile...we will miss him dearly.
'tis a sad day...
