We also use the ice cube games and use cool water for drinking (esp. during warmer weather)
without any problems. Steve and I have had ferrets in the family for 26 years.
A cold bath is a completely different situation, though. That could bring down body temp
too rapidly which can potentially be dangerous, depending on assorted variables. So, baths
should be no lower than around body temp for them.
