Hi Randy-

We have had similar issues with ferrets over the years. If you do a
complete necropsy on those ferrets you will likely find the lymphatic fluid
is due to a cancer in the body. Bear FerretWise who we initially were
draining 120-140 ccs of fluid a week from but it backed off by using B17
injections actually had cancer on the liver bile duct... we never
suspected it due to his ravenous appetite to the last day...

Another ferret with fluid issues had bone cancer.. I could go on but I
suspect when we cannot find the reason it is due to a cancer being
somewhere in the cavity of the ferret-- they are such brave soldiers they
keep going when humans would easily quit.
