Subject: [ferrethealth] Propecia Help
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I'm about to start Mojave on Propecia in case it is adrenal disease
and so I have a couple of questions. (I am waiting for the Lupron
Depot to come in)

1. Is there a certain time of day that I should give it to him?

2. Anyone have any suggestions on how to give it to him? Can I crush
the pill up and put it in some water and give it to him that way?

3. Any idea of about how long it should take before I see results?

4. The vet wants to put him on on another drug for his prostate I
can't recall at this time what it was called but it begins with an
F. It sounded something like Flouranimide? Is it alright for me to
just switch him from the Propecia to this one that she wants to put
him on or is it once he's on one he has to stay on that one.

I'm sorry to have to ask these questions without doing extensive
search of the archives but I have to get to the vets' office before
they close and then run over to CVS to get the propecia filled.

I'm also sorry about not getting the name of that other drug that
she wants to put him on. My cat's vet was over the house treating my
cat when she called so I didn't get the chance to ask her anything
about the drug. The name did sound familiar though.
