To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

AS I understand it, the adrenal gland will attempt to make up for a
LOT of other hormones produced elsewhere in the body if they cannot
be produced normally.

I guess, that is why I am wondering - if the adrenal gland didn't
get triggered to produce these other hormones would that then be a
way to prevent adrenal (or some of them) issues?

I know I say I don't worry about Josie - but I do, especially when
veiwing how many folks have lost there little ones and the troubles
they've gone through.

I'd like to do what I can to avoid as many problems as possible.

Guess I'd have to figure out how much estrogen is in an entire mouse
and I'd further suppose that if the mouse was in estrus, there'd be
a higher percentage of estrogen, right?

thinking on this more, its sort of a question more like - would it
be necessary to supplement a spayed pet with estrogen replacement
therapy in order to ensure good health?

Hmmm, regards, JosiesMom
