To all on Ferret Health List.

I arrange one ferret exhibition in Denmark, end we have some
competitors from Norway there have been is contact with a ferret
with Mycobacterium avium avium, there now is dead. ( put to sleep )
Can someone tell me how i can reduce the contagious ?

The vets in Norway recommend that we dont have earmide control,
don't have any playground or any competitions for the ferret,
because the source of infection is in faeces, mouth to mouth contact
and that the infections can be in drops.

Hope a have spell everything wright, so you can understand it.

Hope someone can tell us how we can reduce the contagious at the
ferret exhibition, and what precautions we are going to take on the
show.

Lot's of the Danish ferrets owner a confused of all the different
things they hear and nervous that there ferret can get infected by
the tb.

Thanks!
